Manager/Supervisor

The Marketing Manager drives offline and digital marketing initiatives for modernvet and MV Academy, focusing on brand awareness, customer acquisition, employer branding, and engagement. They proactively gather insights on branch performance, product trends, and new medical team members to create targeted content and promotions that support business growth.

This role ensures seamless execution despite tight timelines by collaborating with veterinary, finance, operations, and creative teams. Strong stakeholder management and adaptability are key to aligning marketing efforts with business goals while maintaining execution quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Offline Marketing & Brand Activation

  • Plan and execute brand activations, pop-up events, expos, and community engagements.
  • Organize internal events with the People team and vet training seminars with the Head of Vet Education.
  • Develop promotional campaigns, including discounts, interactive games, and campaign tracking codes.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with brands, vendors, and communities for sponsorships, collaborations, and data collection.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (veterinary, customer service, and tech) for seamless execution of promotions and events.

Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Create and manage content for modernvet and MV Academy’s social media channels.
  • Oversee social media publishing, community engagement, and campaign performance tracking.
  • Develop and expand digital presence, including launching new platforms (e.g., TikTok).
  • Manage influencer collaborations and paid promotions.
  • Craft and distribute proactive marketing content via email, push notifications, and WhatsApp.

Reporting & Optimization

  • Maintain post-event and campaign reports to refine future strategies.
  • Work with the tech team on app-related integrations, promo tracking, and dashboards.
  • Manage the annual marketing calendar.

Stakeholder Management

  • Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Head Vet (who has a high standard and tight schedule), ensuring marketing plans remain aligned with their vision.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives efficiently, even under tight timelines, adapting quickly to last-minute changes or stakeholder availability.
  • Work closely with the creative team, providing clear and structured briefs, maintaining recurring check-ins, and ensuring high-quality creative materials are delivered on time.
  • Stay flexible with stakeholder schedules, adjusting marketing plans and preparation timelines to accommodate the busy schedules of veterinarians and other key contributors.
  • Proactively manage expectations, ensuring alignment between marketing execution and stakeholder goals while maintaining a balance between speed and quality.

Product Marketing & Promotion Development

  • Proactively seek information on branch performance, product sales trends, and new medical team members, ensuring marketing content is relevant and timely to support business growth.
  • Develop content strategies that highlight high-performing branches, underperforming products that need a push, or new promotions to drive engagement and revenue.
  • Create content and announcements for new doctors joining modernvet, ensuring a warm introduction to clients and positioning them as trusted veterinary professionals.
  • Review promotional ideas initiated by internal teams, assessing feasibility, risks, and alignment with brand and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal guidelines, and financial viability before execution.
  • Refine and enhance promotional concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize campaign mechanics (e.g., discounts, bundling, gamification).
  • Support execution by providing detailed campaign structures, ensuring clarity in objectives, audience targeting, and performance metrics.
  • Approach proactively to work with internal teams (finance, medic, and operations) to bring promotions to life effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in both offline and digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong project management, event coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to proactively gather insights on product performance, branch growth, and team updates to shape marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities, especially when working with busy stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and campaign execution.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess marketing performance and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience with advertising platforms and digital marketing tools is a plus.
