Position: Facility Coordinator
Job Description:
- Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and facility upgrades to ensure optimal conditions.
- Ensure facilities comply with safety standards, conduct regular inspections, and implement security measures.
- Organize and optimize space usage, including office layouts and relocations.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for facility-related services.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and seek cost-effective solutions for operations and maintenance.
- Maintain an inventory of equipment, furniture, and other assets, ensuring proper maintenance and timely replacements.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for incidents such as fires, natural disasters, or security threats.
- Serve as the main point of contact for facility-related inquiries, liaising with employees, management, and vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and other facility-related data.
- Work with other departments, such as facilities management and engineering, to align maintenance tasks with organizational goals.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to maintenance requests and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Implement eco-friendly initiatives such as recycling programs and energy-saving measures.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven work experience in a Facility or similar role min 2 years (hospital building is a plus)
- Have adequate skills in the internet and computer (hardware, software).
- Have knowledge of medical equipment
- Have mechanical and plumbing skills
- Knowledge of building systems
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Great problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail.
