Inventory Monitoring & Reorder Analysis
About the Role
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Inventory Monitoring & Reorder Analyst to ensure stock accuracy, availability, and efficiency across all branches. This position plays a critical role in monitoring daily inventory movement, analyzing consumption trends, ensuring timely reorder, and supporting cross-branch stock distribution. You will work closely with the Procurement team and Branch Managers to prevent stockouts or overstocks, maintain compliance through regular audits, and continuously improve forecasting and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Monitoring
Monitor daily stock in all branches, including fast-moving, slow-moving, expiring, and damaged items.
Follow up on expiring stock alerts (replacement/disposal) to ensure no expired items remain in storage.
Prepare daily stock reports and highlight potential risks such as stock outs or overstocks.
Identify root causes of stockouts, overstocks, and expiring stock.
Reorder Analysis & Purchase Request
Analyze consumption trends (daily, seasonal, campaign-related).
Define optimal requirements including safety stock levels and reorder points.
Create and submit accurate and timely Purchase Requests (PR).
Follow up on PR status until items are received by the branch.
Coordination & Distribution
Collaborate with Procurement and Branch Managers regarding stock requirements.
Provide redistribution recommendations between branches when excess stock or shortages occur.
Audit & Compliance
Conduct spot checks and monthly stock opname according to schedule.
Investigate stock discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate stock, PR, and audit databases with at least 95% accuracy.
Provide recommendations to improve SOPs and forecasting to ensure consistent customer experience.
Investigate differences between physical and system stock, and collaborate with Branch Managers to implement stronger controls and mitigation processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Veterinary Support/Pharmacy Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or procurement (preferably in healthcare, veterinary, pharmaceutical, or retail operations)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multi-branch stock control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis); ERP or inventory management system knowledge is an advantage.
Familiarity with handling sensitive and regulated items such as veterinary medicines, vaccines, and consumables is a plus.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with Procurement, Branch Managers, and medical teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of monitoring stock across multiple branches simultaneously.
Demonstrated accountability and ownership in maintaining accurate stock records and timely reorder processes.
